Popular Nigerian Comedian cum Skit Maker, Nasboi mourns the loss of his only brother

 


Popular content creator, Lawal Michael, popularly known as Nasboi, is in a grieving state as he announces the passing away of his younger and only brother.

In a tragic Instagram post, he uploaded a sorrowful, teary-faced photo of himself declaring the death of his 20-year-old younger and only brother who, according to him, died suddenly despite being more youthful and full of life. According to his post on instagram, his brother kicked the bucket in the late hours of Saturday, July 29, 2023.

The caption on his post read, "Death took my only brother last night. He was only 20. God knows best."

The grieving comedian cum skit maker took to his Instagram story with the sad news of his brother's death. He posted the teary-faced photograph showing the irony of him, being a comedian who usually makes other people laugh, crying.

In his words, "Na me wey dey make people laugh, na me dey cry."

Nasboi's label has also put out a press statement, asking for people to give him privacy in this difficult and trying moment of his. The press release reads: "We kindly ask that Nasboi be given privacy to carry out this period of mourning as this is a big blow that will need a lot of processing and acknowledgment."

In the official statement, they requested that his fans and allies keep on sending their prayers, condolences and love until when Nasboi is in a good right frame of mind again.

He, ever since the sad incidence, has received an influx of support and messages from his fans, as well as different celebrities who sent in their condolences and great wishes on his social media handle. His brother, however, has since been laid to rest.

May the soul of the departed rest in perfect peace.
